A long note begins at its head and lasts until its end. The teal bars show hold durations; short purple bars show separate taps.

Open the diagram to view the full-size image. These are original timelines, not screenshots of a real map. Column numbers are not keyboard bindings. The example is illustrative rather than a test of the entire-chart classifier.
The analyzer measures how many objects are holds, how much column-time they occupy, and the maximum simultaneous holds. The release time matters as well as the start time.
.style ln .ln
Use either form as an active player. The shared room’s future selections use the preference; already visible queue entries stay in place. Use .style or .map to inspect the current Mania chart and .pool for active filters.
An LN-focused chart can contain taps and several overlapping holds. The tag does not describe every release rhythm or guarantee that a given player will find the chart easier.
When strict fresh choices run out, style fallback can broaden the selection while keeping the active eligibility boundaries. Common spelling aliases remain supported; see style syntax.
The illustration explains the pattern, not an automatic admission test. Current native catalogs require a style score plus sustained/prominent feature evidence; a short passage or isolated event need not qualify the whole chart. See style selection and fallback for combinations and fresh-map tiers.
Noodle is a separate hold-dominant composition preference, narrower than LN; it can fall back to native LN once fresh strict/relaxed hold-heavy choices run out. From v6.7.12, LN- or Noodle-tagged charts have 0.1× their previous relative weight only in ordinary Variety. Explicit LN/Noodle and combinations are unchanged; this is not a fixed 10% share.
